Euclyde Datacentres, a provider of local hosting services at Edge Data Centres, has implemented a Lift&Drive solution to enhance the safety and efficiency of server handling in their Lyon facility. This decision was driven by the need to prevent injuries and ensure secure handling of servers in tight spaces.

The Challenge
The primary challenge faced by Euclyde was the risk of accidents and injuries due to the lack of staff and the confined spaces within their data centre. The facility's design includes narrow passageways and cable gates, complicating server handling operations.

The Solution
Euclyde selected the Lift&Drive DC09 U52 server and battery lifter from Pronomic. This solution features a telescopic mast that can navigate low passages while reaching the top positions in server racks. Its ergonomic design includes an adjustable handlebar and a tight turning radius, making it adaptable for various users and easy to maneuver in restricted spaces.
