This device is 100% mechanical, has an adjustable gearbox and is the simplest tapping unit to use and/or re-use within different applications. Very compact, it only needs 42 or 66mm (1.6” or 2.6”) width to slide inside your die. Getting better over the years, it comes with a Quick Installation Kit that makes it even easier to slide in and out of the die, for quick tap change, or move from die to die. PRONIC new lead screw assembly also provides better compliance to bad tap line up with prehole, for better thread quality.
