Progressive dock leveller PP 1 General Information Stationary dock leveller PP is a new element of development of the PROM line of products. It is intended for external and internal ramps and used when small and medium differences in height of the ramp edge and loading deck of a vehicle are to be levelled. The dock leveller is mounted to the ramp face with a steel hinge and lowered onto the loading surface by means of an operating lever in the course of the loading process. The PPFA model is equipped with a segmented aluminium lip adjusting to widths of loading decks and to differences in height between the top edge of the ramp and the bottom edge of the vehicle loading deck. Progressive dock leveller PP 1.3 PPV – manoeuvrable dock leveller. The leveller is fixed in a guide profile mounted to the ramp face and can move sideways. The supplied PPV levellers are compatible with commonly used profiles of other brands, which means that there is no need to replace an existing guide profile, as this might require a lot of effort. Progressive dock leveller PP 1.4 PPVA - manoeuvrable dock leveller with an aluminium lip. A leveller that combines the strengths of both manoeuvrable dock levellers and levellers with an aluminium lip. 5. Fall protection mechanism Each steel part of the manoeuvrable dock leveller is hot dip galvanised. Pursuant to EN 1398, it is prohibited to use levellers when the acceptable inclination angle of ± 12.5% (ca. ± 7°) has been exceeded. This value may be exceeded only when the user has excluded every possibility of slipping (e.g. by keeping surfaces dry and clean). Technical modifications...
