SCIENTIFIC AND MANUFACTURING FIRM PRODECOLOGIA Electrostatic separator type EBS (triboelectric) Destination Designed for - dry separation of mixtures of polymers* by the electrophysical proper ties of the components, for example: PVC + rubber (crushed window profile), PVC + PE (crushed cable insulation), PET+PVC (crushed PET bottles), ABS+PS (crushed WEEE), PP+PE (plastic bottles and caps) and other mixtures (PVC + glass, PS + PP, PS + PC, PS + SAN, ABS + SAN, ABS + PVC, PET + PP, PE + PS); - extraction of diamonds from tailings of X-ray luminescence separation. Supplied It is used in production lines recycling of polymers and their waste after crushing, drying and classification. Principle of function Two-component mixture of polymers (prechopped, dried and classified) is fed into the hopper, then the product falls into a special trybocharge device. In trybocharge device particles of polymers mix, due to the numerous encounters with each other and the walls of the device get positive and negative charges and then sorted out by electrostatic field on the drum separator. In accordance to the sign of charge, particles are attracted either to the receiving electrode (rotating drum) or to the static electrode connected to the high tension feed source. Advantages - dry separation process (without separating liquids); - high purity of the recovered materials (> 9899%); - individual adjustment of parameters process for a specific material; - low power consumption; - easy to maintain and operate.
