The Type EL colloid mills are designed for in-line operation and can be equipped with various connection types such as threaded nozzles, flanges, and tri-clamps. A unique feature is the bearing block that allows the use of standard B3 motors. The mills are available in seven standard sizes with capacities ranging from 500 to 80,000 l/h, depending on configuration and product viscosity.
These mills are suitable for de-agglomeration, dispersing, emulsifying, micro-comminution, homogenizing, dissolving, mixing, and wet milling. The rotor/stator system allows for precise grinding and mixing of substances.
The PUC colloid mill operates on a rotor/stator system, where the rotor and stator have tailored teeth to create a narrowing ring gap for precise grinding and mixing.
Various options are available, including different milling gears, material options, heated/cooled housing, pharmaceutical and ATEX versions, electronic milling gap indication, and more.
Type E colloid mills use standard B3 motors, which are surface-cooled and suitable for use with inverters. They meet efficiency class IE3 standards.
Units come with various mechanical seals and lip seals (PTFE) compliant with FDA requirements. Product-contact parts are made from high-quality stainless steel, with hardened chromium steel for abrasive substances.

The motors are surface-cooled, have moisture guard insulation (IP55) and are suitable for use with inverters. They can be supplied for all voltages, frequencies and protection classes.
