Pneumatic actuators made of stainless steel are designed for corrosive environments, suitable for marine and underwater applications. They operate between -32ºC and 90ºC, powered by air or non-aggressive fluids up to 8 bar, with an option for 15 bar. Available in single and double acting models, they provide torques up to 470 Nm at 6 bar.
The actuators comply with ISO-5211, DIN-3337, VDE-3845, and NAMUR norms, and meet PED Directive 97-23-EC, ATEX Directive 94-9-EC, and SIL-2 requirements. They can include limit switches, solenoid valves, positioners, and manual overrides.
Used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, sanitary, dairy, offshore plants, and shipyards, these actuators automate ball, butterfly, and plug valves.
Constructed with AISI-316 stainless steel screws and caps, CF8M stainless steel cylinders, and polyamide washers and position indicators. The design includes preloaded spring sets and N.B.R. O-rings.
Cycle times and torques are specified for models PI00, PI10, PI20, PI30 under various pressures. Detailed torque charts for double acting and spring return models, with dimensions and weights, are provided.
Actuators offer a range of couplings for most valves and can be customized with AISI-316 components and cataphoresis coating for durability.
Instructions for calculating cycle time and consumption are provided, indicating that cycle time without resistant torque at 6 bar should be multiplied by the real working pressure to determine consumption.
Certifications include ISO-TS-29001-2003, API-Q1-7-TH, ISO-9001-2000, IEC-61508-SIL-2, and 97-23-CE-PED-CE 0054, relating to quality management and product approvals for petroleum, petrochemical, and natural gas industries.
