Technical Specifications
MAXIMO is a large-scale laser cutting system derived from the PLATINO 2D laser machine by Prima Power. It features a substantial work area with dimensions ranging from 18,200 mm to 45,700 mm in length, 5,750 mm in width, and 3,000 mm in height. The system boasts a high axis speed of 100 m/min, with a combined speed of 140 m/min, and a linear axis resolution of 0.001 mm. Positioning accuracy and repeatability are both 0.03 mm, adhering to VDI/DGQ 3441 standards.

System Architecture and Flexibility
MAXIMO integrates the mechanical structure, laser generator, CNC, and other components of the PLATINO machine, mounted on rails over a fixed table. It includes an additional Y2 axis for extended movement, allowing processing of sheets up to 36 m in length. The system can be configured for local, long-distance, or split work areas, enhancing flexibility and reducing idle time.

Installation and Ergonomics
Installation is straightforward, requiring only two plinths for the Y2 axis stroke. The system is equipped with a CNC P20L by Prima Electro, featuring a Windows® HMI with a 15" touch screen and trackball. Off-line programming is facilitated by MAESTRO-Libellula®, and optional remote control features are available.

Safety and User-Friendliness
MAXIMO includes a fully enclosed protection cabin, a focal axis for cutting various materials, a rapid lens changing system, and an anti-collision safety device. It also features a fast-piercing unit for thicker ferrous materials, a Laser Piercing Monitor (LPM), and Plasma Monitoring & Automatic Restart capabilities.
