CHROCODILE MPS 2L Quality control via optical inspection ELL BERI> ’’AZISE SCI Precitec has developed a new generation of sensors, the CHRocodile MPS 2L flexible Multi-Point Sensor, offering up to 24 simultaneous and independent non-contact measurements in distance and thickness mode. Together with the newly developed line probes one can measure two lines of 12 points each. The measuring points are distributed on a line with a length of up to 12.5 mm. Since the channels can be addressed independently, other configurations, such as using one line probe and up to 12 additional point probes can be used. This enables the possibility to use a line probe with a pitch of 1mm for critical zones of the container, while for the less critical zones a larger pitch of 2 mm or 4mm might be favored.
