General OverviewThe Smartbox FPVO program is designed to determine the filling quantity of solid and liquid goods in compliance with Finished Packaging Regulations (FPVO). It allows storage of article numbers, product names, reference densities, and tare weights in permanent memory for later use. For liquid goods, density can be entered to output measurements in milliliters. Automatic capturing of measurement values is available.
Scope of DeliveryThe standard configuration includes a balance with Smartbox FPVO and a printer or PC. Optional accessories include a barcode scanner, barcode printer, signal lamp, and secondary display.
Standard Applications- Smartbox FPVO with Tare Mean Value: This application checks if the net weight of goods is within a prescribed tolerance range using a mean tare value. Statistics printouts provide detailed measurement data.
- Smartbox FPVO with Individual Tare First: Individual tare weights are recorded before packaging, and gross weights are recorded after. The program calculates net fill quantities and checks against tolerance ranges.
- Smartbox FPVO with Individual Tare After: Gross weights are recorded first, followed by tare weights after emptying. The program calculates net fill quantities and checks against tolerance ranges.
- Auxiliary Application - Determining Tare Mean Value: Calculates the mean tare value from a series of empty packages for use in other applications.
- Daily and Weekly Statistics: Provides printouts of daily and weekly statistics for product measurements.
Technical DataThe Smartbox FPVO dimensions are 125 x 150 x 33 mm, weighing 265 g. It supports multiple languages and has a maximum memory space for 500 articles and 250 tare registers. It can handle up to 255 samples per series for tare mean value applications and 25 for individual tare applications. The Smartbox supports up to 6 interfaces and allows remote control via RS232. Software updates are available online.
Interfaces and Print FormatsStandard interfaces include 2 x RS232, with an option for 4 x RS232. Print formats include 15 customizable text lines and 85 predefined text lines for measured values and results.
