Power Amplifier DIAO3 (Advanced version) Digital Interface for Simulator Application Introduction Simulation System PAV DIAO3 is the optional accessory for power amplifier as the solution for digital communication via AURORA protocol or SV. For digital Aurora protocol interface, via the fiber digital port, it communicates with the real‐time dynamic system, and then converts the received digital signal into analog signal to output to the power amplifier unit. For IEC61850 Sampling Value interface, it can process up to 1 stream of lEC61850 sampled Values via Ethernet port, could control the voltage and current outputs. Aurora or SV DIAO3 Analog PONOVO Amplifier Application The real-time simulator and amplifier are time synchronized with each other for the reliable and stable generation of output signals, which takes place via the Ethernet connection using the lEEE1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP).
