Each vehicle has specific power and charging requirements, and each type of charger requires specific installation characteristics. While vehicles are manufactured for a standard charging model, installation types vary by region, which can lead to errors when charging vehicle batteries.
Polylux offers equipment to meet the installation conditions for EV chargers according to electrotechnical regulations for low voltage and ITC. They provide transformers that help achieve standard requirements.
- Single-phase or three-phase installations are available.
- The potential difference between neutral and earth should be less than 1V for adequacy and more than 3V is concerning.
- Earth resistance should be less than 20Ω.
- Voltage between neutral and phases must be balanced, with a voltage drop not exceeding 5%.
- The electrical network should be monitored for harmonic effects.
Polylux offers various transformer series for different installation needs:
- PD Series: Single-phase transformers for residential installations, ranging from 2000 VA to 5000 VA.
- TK Series: Single-phase transformers ranging from 3.15 kVA to 12.5 kVA.
- TT Series: Three-phase transformers ranging from 3.15 kVA to 31.5 kVA.
