Function and Operation

The Core Separator is designed to separate the core part from the pomace during continuous olive oil production. The pomace, which is discharged externally, contains both core and pomace parts that need separation.

The pomace is fed into the drum via a screw conveyor from the cover. Inside the drum, a shaft equipped with four plates and a sieve facilitates the separation process. As the pomace moves between the shaft and the sieve, the pomace passes through the sieve while the core is retained and discharged from the front.
