  4. Check the parallelism of the V-tracks within specified tolerances.
  5. Assemble the slide top, mounting the fixed bearing rail as described, and lightly screw down the adjustable rail.
  6. If end stops are present, remove end stop screws before inserting cages.
  7. Insert cages carefully, then lightly bolt down the adjustable V-rail.
  8. Fit end stop screws or end pieces.
  9. Adjust the linear bearing set to be play-free using lateral preload setscrews.
  10. Secure attachment screws on the adjusting rail and inspect for play and accuracy.
