Electric wormgear winches MCW-Series MCW-Series A range of electric self braking worm gear winches, developed for heavy duty pulling and traversing duties up to 2200 kg. Due to the self braking worm gears the winches are suitable for pulling up an incline. A brake is available as an option for accurate positioning or repetitive lifting applications up to 2000 kg. MCW-series often used to rank railway waggons, bring motorless cars and trucks into repair workshops or tows fresh fallen timber. The winches can be used with 100% ED, which means continuesly. We always recommend to use the version with three phase motors to enable better starting with attached hanging loads. Therefore MCW have an overload protection in the control box and a red emergency-stop button either on the control box cover or at the handheld pendant control.
