Materials and Applications

CuSn7Zn4Pb7-C-CG (CC493K): This material is known for its excellent sliding and dry running properties. It is suitable for use as a bearing material when paired with unhardened mating materials, provided there is good lubrication. It is easily machinable, resistant to seawater, and can be soft-soldered or brazed to some extent. Typical applications include bearings for general machine tools and vehicle manufacturing, as well as medium-performance sliding plates and rails.
CuSn12-C-GC (CC483K): This semi-hard material offers good wear resistance, even at high sliding speeds. It is also corrosion-resistant and seawater-resistant. It is commonly used in worm wheel rims, helical wheels, spindle nuts, and high-performance adjustment gibs and sliding rails, especially under conditions of high sliding speed, intermittent loads, and high contact pressure.
