Sumo main motor The oil-cooled Sumo main motor drives the weaving machine directly, without belt or clutch and brake. The combination of the highly energy-efficient Sumo motor with the direct drive (patented) of the main shaft and shedding motion results in power savings of more than 10% in comparison with conventional clutch and brake configurations.
