PHOTONIS offers advanced Long-Life™ Microchannel Plates (MCPs) that provide up to five times the lifespan of other MCPs. These plates are designed for a variety of applications, including image intensification, remote detection, and mass spectrometry, offering high gain and low dark current.
The MCPs are available in various configurations, including different diameters, pore sizes, and coatings. The Extended Dynamic Range™ (EDR) MCPs offer the highest dynamic range, while TruFlite™ MountingPad™ MCPs reduce time jitter in Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry.

Three Classications of MCPs Detection Grade MCPs are designed for a wide range of signal detection applications where devices are used as single-point detectors and ampliers. Detection grade is typical for Time-of-Flight mass spectrometry, residual gas analysis and point detectors. Detection grade is the best choice and value for non-imaging applications.
