The PR-550 LiteMate Pro is the most versatile portable photometer in it’s class. It features a photopically corrected ultra-sensitive silicon photo diode detector, high resolution screen display and long lasting Li-ion battery. Unambiguous target alignment is guaranteed by the world famous Pritchard® through-the-lens optical system. Need Connectivity? The PR-550 is supplied with a USB interface and drivers that emulate an RS232 COM port for easy commuincation with your PC or MAC. The PR-550 can also be supplied with a Bluetooth™ wireless interface for the ultimate in portability, and a traditional RS232 I/F. Need to Measure Temporal Sources? If your requirement includes measuring refreshing sources such as LCD’s, the PR-550 has an AutoSync® feature that automatically adjusts the measurement time to frequencies between 20 and 400 Hz insuring accurate, repeatable measurements. An external trigger is available that tells sources such as xenon strobes when to flash so that these devices are measured as accurately as possible. Need Dynamic Range for Display Contrast? The PR-550 delivers 36,000,000:1 dynamic range for any one of it’s four standard apertures. Total system dynamic range is an astounding 5,184,000,000:1! Need Low Level Capability? With the largest aperture (3°) the PR-550 can measure as low as 0.0004 fL (0.0012 cd/m2). Need Speed? Measurement speeds range from 96 μsecs. to 500 ms. The longest any measurement takes, even when measuring the lowest intensity levels, is just over 1/2 second. Need Custom Control? PhotoWin™ operating software, a Windows based executable, is available for control of the PR-550 and offers a wide range of capabilities such as a suite of math functions, reflectance and contrast measurement wizards and a time vs intensity graphing feature. With PhotoWin, results can be automatically exported to Microsoft Excel™ to a specific spreadsheet, row and column. The PR-550 can be also be controlled with simple ASCII (text) commands over any of the available interface configurations allowing it to easily become a part of an ATE or other custom measurement environment. Need More Than Luminance? Unlike the majority of portable photometers, the PR-550 can be outfitted to measure illuminance (fc and lux), luminous intensity (candelas) and luminous flux (lumens) in addition to the standard units of luminance (fL and cd/m2).
