  • Options include shock pads, magnets, extended wrench flats, extra tool plate extension, and more.
Dimensions:
  • Available bore sizes range from 12 mm to 63 mm.
  • Standard stroke lengths vary by bore size, with maximum strokes up to 150 mm.
Specifications:
The document provides detailed specifications for the Series CTS compact guide rod cylinders, including dimensions in both imperial and metric units. Bore sizes range from 12 mm to 63 mm, with various options for rod extensions and tool plate extensions. The document includes a torque chart for switches and a detailed dimension chart for different bore sizes.

Procedures:
Assembly and installation procedures are outlined, emphasizing the need for thread-locking adhesive on tool plate mounting screws. The installation of switches requires temporary removal of the rear bracket for units with J or K mounts.

Standards and Recommendations:
Shock pads are recommended for applications where the piston contacts the head or cap to reduce noise and extend cylinder life. The document advises using external stops for attached loads to prevent piston impact and maximize cylinder life.

Options and Accessories:
Several options are available, including corrosion-resistant coatings, fluoro-elastomer seals for compatibility with specific fluids, and magnetic bands for use with PHD Series 6790 and JC1 switches. Mounting options include J and K mounts, with specific configurations for foot brackets and tool plate extensions.

Best Practices:
For maximum cylinder life, it is recommended to use the cylinder for power and motion while externally stopping any attached loads. Internal shock pads are suggested when external stopping is not possible.

Key Data from Tables and Charts:
The document includes a comprehensive dimension chart for different bore sizes, a torque chart for switch installation, and a cordset chart for Series 6790 & JC1 switches. It also provides part numbers and descriptions for various components and kits.
