The Seaprotector II is a reusable heat-protection suit designed specifically for maritime shipping and steel works. The suit includes leather gloves compliant with EN 659 and MED Approval, safety boots according to EN 15090 with MED Approval, and a heat-resistant zipper. The helmet is approved under EN 443 MED standards and is available from various manufacturers. The suit is available in sizes L, XL, XXL, and XXXL, and each delivery includes a carrier bag, safety boots, a helmet, and gloves.
The suit meets ISO 15538 Level II and EN ISO 14116:2015 standards for flame retardancy. It is SOLAS/MED approved, complying with SOLAS 74 as amended, Regulation II-2/10 & X/3, 2000 HSC Code 7, and FSS Code 3. The quality system is assessed according to Annex II, Module D in directive 2014/90/EU and regulation (EU) 2022/1157.
The suit is approved as protective clothing for firefighting with a reflective outer surface in accordance with ISO 15538:2001 Level 2. It must be worn with MED approved boots, gloves, and helmet to ensure full protection. Usage and restrictions are as per the manufacturer's instructions, and the suit should be used with appropriate equipment like a self-contained breathing apparatus. Each suit comes with a manual for use and maintenance.
