Metal bodies Replacement cups, discs, bumper noses, blades and spacer discs are made from PE’s own formulation Omnithane® available in 3 grades – standard, super and hyper -depending upon application. These polyurethanes are compatible with most products which are transported through pipeline systems including crude oil, refined products, natural gas, LPG, LNG, ethylene, chemicals, effluents and vegetable oils. Springs and brushes are available in carbon steel or stainless steel. Application and operation PE’s replacement cups and discs are of proven design and have been used for many years in a variety of pigging operations. They are suitable for fitting to all types of pigs used in both pre-commissioning and service operations including gauging, cleaning and separation. Configurations and sizes Cups and discs can be manufactured to suit any pipe ID and can have the centre hole and bolt holes drilled to suit the customers requirements.
