Product Recovery Systems Components

Uni-Directional Launch Station
The Marplug (Pig) is loaded into the launching station and propelled through the line using air or liquid to expel product and clean the line. Afterward, it is removed from the receiving station, cleaned, and prepared for the next run.

Easy Access Receiving Station
Designed for single-direction recovery systems, these stations allow quick access to the Marplug. The oversized receive chamber facilitates an 'Air Purge' of the product in the final pipe section.

Bi-directional Marplug Operation
This system is used for automatic product recovery. The Marplug is returned to the launching station from the receiving station using air or liquid, remaining ready for the next batch.

Fully Automatic Launch and Receiving Station
Dual Marplug Operation: The first Marplug ensures de-aerated and isolated product, while the second expels the product from the line. Both Marplugs are returned to the launcher before the next batch, maintaining product integrity. Applications include preventing air inclusion in shaving gels and CO2 release in sparkling wines.

Cassette Traps
Special pipe sections used for loading and unloading pigs for 'Off-Line' manual cleaning. The operator can purge the line by inserting a pre-loaded sanitized Marplug.

Hatch Trap
A compact trap with easy lid access, used to introduce a Marplug into a line to remove residual material or pull a cable through a pipeline.

Vortex Chamber
Enables effective washing of flexible Marplugs with a unique cyclonic vortex cleaning action, ensuring efficient cleaning and safeguarding mechanical and chemical properties.

Marplug (Pig) Molded Hygienic (FDA certified)
The flexible design allows the Marplug to navigate through pipes, including flexible hoses, using low-pressure air for propulsion, reducing operational costs and increasing durability.

Modular Marplug
Designed for custom pipe sizes, the Marplug is propelled by water, compressed air, or nitrogen to displace and recover product from pipe sidewalls.

SmartCan™
A tin can with a strong magnet, easily detected by a magnetic sensor, used to accurately detect batch changes for correct labeling.

Control Systems
Semi-automatic: Automates the return of the Marplug from the receiving station, saving operator time.
Fully Automatic: Controls the entire recovery and cleaning process from an external source or a single push button, with optional interactive HMI screen.
