Product catalog summary
Application
The Drum Type Nobbing Line is designed for high-capacity processing of small pelagic fish, capable of handling up to 900 fish per minute. It is suitable for fish sizes ranging from 9 to 14 cm, such as sprats, anchovies, and capelin. The equipment can produce HG or HGT fixed length products. Processing fish slightly outside the specified size range may reduce output efficiency.
Main Benefits
  • Requires only 2 operators.
  • Replaces 13-15 manual processing specialists.
  • Offers high productivity with precise and fast operation.
Operating Principle
The process begins with an operator filling the hopper elevator tank with fish. The elevating belt then transports the fish to the head-tail orientation unit. Properly oriented fish are moved to the head cutting drum, where the head is cut off according to a preset height. There are three sets of drums for different head heights. After head removal, the fish pass through a vacuum suction unit to remove the digestive system.
