Prevents corrosion TYPICAL APPLICATIONS Used for sealing and protecting oil pan drain plugs DIRECTIONS FOR USE 1. Clean the plug threads to be sealed with mineral spirits and wipe with a clean cloth. 2. Tear open the pouch and apply the sealant to cover all of the engaged threads, making sure that the material is in the grooves of the threads. 3. Assemble the parts and wrench-tighten to the proper torque. FOR CLEANUP 1. Clean up any excess material off of metal parts with mineral spirits. 2. Clean hands using a Permatex brand hand cleaner. GENERAL INFORMATION This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.
