Overview
The POLY-THERM Fiberglass Jacketed Polyurethane Insulated Piping System is designed for the distribution of liquids at temperatures ranging from -320°F to 250°F. It features a high-strength fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin jacket for maximum insulation protection.

Applications
The system is suitable for various applications including domestic hot water systems, geothermal collection and distribution, waste heat recovery, cryogenic piping, solar collection and distribution, district heating and cooling, process fluid transport, fuel and heavy oil transport, condensate return, and chilled water distribution.

Installation and Field Closure
- Recommended insulation thickness varies by pipe size and application.
- Field joints are hydrostatically tested and insulated with poured-in-place insulation.
- Protective jackets are filament wound and applied directly to the insulating foam.
- Backfill involves a 4-inch layer of sand or fine gravel, followed by compacted layers of suitable soil.
