Cleaning Chemical Resistance
For cleaning, the membrane can withstand sodium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide, and hydrogen peroxide within specified limits. It is advised to minimize exposure to oxidizing agents to extend membrane life.

Operating Specifications
The maximum system, trans-membrane, and backflush pressures are all 300 kPa (43 psi). The temperature range for operation is 0-40°C (32-104°F).

Technical Specifications
The membrane element has a dry weight of approximately 34 kg and a filled weight of 66 kg. It is constructed with PVC housing, PVC/PP flow distributor, PU resin potting, and PES/PVP membrane.

Storage
Membrane modules should be stored in a dry, ventilated place between 0 and 40°C, away from heat and sunlight. The shelf life is 6 months under proper storage conditions. For long-term storage, membranes should be disinfected and kept filled with a storage solution.

Recommendations
To maximize membrane life, avoid sudden temperature changes and adhere to specified limits for pH, concentration, pressure, and temperature during operation and cleaning. Backwash water should be of UF permeate quality, and backwash pumps should be made of non-corroding materials.

Typical applications are the filtration of surface water, potable water and WWTP effluent. Mode of operation is feed-and-bleed with a minor crossflow or dead-end mode with regular backwash (permeate only) and chemically enhanced backwash.
