FASTENERS FOR USE IN STAINLESS STEEL SHEETS One of the very basics of self-clinching is that the fastener must always be harder than the host sheet to ensure proper and permanent installation. This is particularly challenging when installing fasteners into stainless steel sheets. Therefore we have developed this line of specially hardened stainless steel fasteners for installation into stainless steel. Refer to “Dos and Don’ts” on page 24 for further information.
