VERNIKAR Solventborne interior & exterior wood varnish SURFACE PREPARATION As stated by DTU 59.1, all surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dirt. For maintenance work, remove peeling paint by brushing, scraping or sanding. Old glossy painted surfaces must be sanded or washed with an appropriate cleaner and then rinsed with water. If necessary, substrates must first be treated with a fungal treatment. These recommendations do not override a specific description of the substrate.
