PCM Willen SA is a Swiss manufacturer specializing in precision tool holders for automatic lathes, known for their quality and reliability. Their products are marketed under the 'Swiss Made' label, ensuring high manufacturing standards.
Product Features
The tool holders for CITIZEN CINCOM R04-R07 are designed for durability and high-speed operations, featuring high precision spindle ball bearings, low backlash, and high transmission accuracy. They offer various clamping systems, coolant options, and ratios for flexible and precise machining.
Axial Drilling/Milling Tools
These tools enable radial machining on gear tools and are available in versions with spindle cooling and multi-spindle options, suitable for face machining on the backtool block.
Hobbing Tools
These tools are designed for gear cutting on bar-turning machines, ensuring synchronism with the main spindle, and can produce spur and helical gears with modules from 0.03mm to 2mm.
Polygon Tools
Polygon turning units synchronize to cut bar stock at the same radial position, allowing faster machining of geometries like hexes and squares, and can also be used for chamfering and deburring.
Static Tools
Non-rotating toolholders that accommodate drilling spindles and colletholders for centric machining, capable of performing similar operations as driven toolholders when using a high-frequency spindle.
Company Support
PCM Willen SA offers professional after-sales support and training tailored to customer needs, emphasizing the use of first-class replacement parts for maintenance and repair to ensure optimal toolholder performance.

HOBBING TOOLS When gear cutting on a bar-turning machine, make sure that the main spindle turns synchrnously with the tool. For this purpose, the machine manufacturer provides a macro that guarantees synchronism and simplifies programming. The smallest gears have a module of 0.03mm and the largest a module of 2mm. Furthermore spur and helical gears can be produced. Gangtool Gearhobbing tool Visit us online: www.pcm.ch

POLYGON TOOLS The polygon turning unit has a multitude of inserts, and is synchronized so that when an insert cuts the turning bar stock, it cuts the bar at the same radial position each time the workpiece rotates = counterrun. This enables geometries such as hexes, squares and flats to be machined at faster speeds than by milling. The surfaces can be produced using the grooving method as well as the longitudinal turning method. It can also be used to copy a chamfer (deburring the surface).
