Predictive Maintenance Paper Machines Often in paper and plastics manufacturing locations rolling-element bearings are difficult to monitor because of their slow speeds. The 1x running speed of the bearing may be lower in frequency than the low frequency range of a typical piezoelectric accelerometer.
