This labor would often consume more than 4 hours with hundreds of dollars in costly materials. In addition, a requirement of less than 8 pounds of force to open the door was needed to meet with strict ADA regulations. • Solution: The size 45 Redi-Rail linear guide proved to be an ideal solution for the door guides. Almost all preparatory work was eliminated and installation time was cut to about 45 minutes per door. The unique, lightweight aluminum guide rail mounts directly to the wall studs. The sliders easily mount directly to the door. A thin UHMW tab at one corner of the door bottom stabilizes the entire unit. • Cost Savings: Installation labor was cut from and estimated $340 to $63.75. The customers first project was for 110 doors in an 8 floor high-rise.
