High Pressure Compressed Air Purification

High Pressure Compressed Air Purification

Product catalog summary
Overview: The document details the Parker domnick hunter high pressure compressed air purification system, designed to provide continuous clean, oil-free, and dry compressed air. It highlights the importance of removing moisture and water vapor to prevent issues such as pressure drops, blocked valves, and equipment failure.
Specifications: The system operates at a maximum working pressure of 276 bar g and is compliant with ISO 8573-1:2001 for air quality. It features fully automatic operation, electric controls, and is corrosion protected. The system is compact, lightweight, and suitable for various mounting options.
Operation Stages:
  • Stage 1: High efficiency water separator removes bulk contamination, achieving 90% condensate removal at 21°C.
  • Stage 2: Coalescing filter removes oil/water aerosols and dirt particulates down to 0.01 micron.
  • Stage 3: Regenerative desiccant dryer maintains constant dewpoint using pressure/temperature swing adsorption.
  • Stage 4: Activated carbon filter removes remaining oil vapor down to 0.003 mg/m3.
  • Stage 5: Final particulate filter removes desiccant dust, ensuring a minimum working pressure of 240 bar g.
Technical Data: The system supports a maximum design pressure of 345 bar g, with normal operating pressure at 276 bar g. It handles an inlet capacity of 84 cfm at 276 bar g, with a maximum inlet temperature of 50°C. The system has a purge air loss of 3.5% and offers voltage options of 110V ac and 240V ac.
Benefits: The system improves operational efficiency, reduces maintenance costs, and ensures constant dewpoint performance. It is shock tested to 30G and proven in service, particularly within the Royal Navy Surface Fleet.
