Product Overview: The Fulflo® ProBond™ Filter Cartridges are a patented innovation in resin-bonded cartridge design, featuring a one-piece construction that eliminates bypass concerns and simplifies cartridge change-out. The silicone-free construction prevents contamination that could affect adhesion properties of coatings.

Applications: Suitable for use in paints, printing inks, adhesives, resins, emulsions, chemical coatings, organic solvents, plasticizers, waxes, oil & gas fluids, and petroleum products.

Design and Benefits: The ProBond™ cartridges feature a unique two-stage filtration design for enhanced particle retention and service life in viscous fluid filtration applications. The outer spiral prefilter wrap, made from a polyester and acrylic fiber blend, increases cartridge strength and eliminates debris. Available in eight removal ratings (2μm to 150μm) to meet diverse performance requirements.

Materials: Polyester/Acrylic fiber blend for pre-filter wrap; Acrylic fiber impregnated with phenolic resin for final filter wrap.
Construction: Coreless, one-piece, rigid resin bonded fibrous matrix.
Operating Conditions: Maximum flow rate of 5gpm per 10-inch length, temperature up to 250°F (121°C), and recommended change-out ΔP of 50psid (3.5bar).
Pressure Resistance: Varies with temperature, up to 150psid at 70°F (21°C).
Environmental Compatibility: Nonhazardous, incinerable, crushable, shredable, silicone-free, suitable for weak acids and bases (pH 5-9), not suitable for oxidizing agents or FDA applications.

Ordering Information: Cartridges are available in various configurations, lengths, and seal materials. End cap configurations include standard double open end, single open end with 222 o-ring, and others. Lengths range from 9-¾ inches to 40 inches. Seal materials include EPR, Buna-N, Silicone, PFA encapsulated Viton®, and Viton®.

Flow Rate and Pressure Drop Formulas: Formulas provided for calculating flow rate and clean ΔP based on viscosity, flow factor, and length factor. Flow factors and length factors are specified for different micron ratings and cartridge lengths.
