Product Overview: The Fulflo® DuraBond™ Cartridges are economical, high-strength, thermally-bonded depth cartridges designed for a variety of applications including photographic chemicals, DI water, plating solutions, bleach, RO pre-filtration, organic solvents, oil field fluids, membrane pre-filtration, industrial coatings, magnetic coatings, potable water, and process fluids.
Key Features: The cartridges feature a fixed pore structure for efficient particle retention, a thermally bonded bi-component fiber matrix for stability, and a corrugated porous surface for maximum dirt holding capacity. They are silicone-free, FDA grade polypropylene certified, and constructed from materials listed as acceptable for potable and edible liquid contact.
Specifications: Materials include a thermal bonded bi-component matrix of polypropylene/polyethylene and optional polyolefin copolymer end caps/adapters. Dimensions are 1-1⁄16 in (27mm) ID x 2-7⁄16 (62mm) in OD with lengths of 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 inches. Maximum operating conditions are 175°F (80°C) and 100psid (6.8bar) at 72°F (27°C). Nominal filtration ratings range from 1μm to 100μm.
Performance and Efficiency: The cartridges provide a beta ratio (ß) for particle retention and percent removal efficiency. Flow rate and pressure drop formulas are provided for calculating performance based on ASTM F-795-88 standards.
Ordering Information: Various end cap configurations and seal materials are available, including options for double open end, O-ring configurations, and specific lengths. Seal materials include poly foam gaskets, EPR, Buna-N, silicone, PFA encapsulated Viton®, and Viton®.
