Test Principle
The tester uses the moisture permeable cup weighing test principle. At a set temperature, a specific humidity difference is created across the sample, allowing water vapor to pass through into the dry side. The change in weight of the moisture permeable cup over time is measured to determine the sample's water vapor permeability.

Test Standards
The tester complies with standards such as ASTM E96, ASTM D1653, TAPPI T464, ISO 2528, and JIS Z0208.

Configuration
The standard configuration includes the instrument, computer, testing software, communication cable, sample cutter, vacuum seal grease, and printer. Optional accessories include package/container test accessories and a temperature control device. Note that the air source and distilled water must be prepared by the user.
