I WASTE AND DUST EXTRACTION The Paramount Rotofeeder design offers an in-floor containment, rapid waste removal system as a alternative to problematic conveyor belts. When floor space is at a premium and production machinery waste exits below, like a die cutter, it's the ideal solution is to install the waste system in a trench in the floor running through the work space. The Paramount Rotofeeder captures the waste in a hopper under the production machine. A regulated, rotating valve drops the waste into a high velocity airstream contained within ducting sealed against possible air leaks, with the capacity to service up to ten machines. The ducting ensures the waste cannot escape and block the trench, retains any airborne dust and also allows for multiple changes in direction under the floor to suit the machine shop layout. A single waste system with usually only one access point required for each Rotofeeder, the waste will be conveyed to the separation equipment via a chopper fan usually positioned in the trench, inline with the RotoFeeders. A superior option to multiple conveyors. The Rotofeeder is more adept at handling larger waste pieces which won’t fall out into the trench creating blockages and a potential fire risk. Moving at speeds of 25m/s, the Rotofeeder is capable of transporting more waste than a conveyor and with just a single moving part, giving higher reliability. • Highly reliable waste transfer method. • Sealed negative pressure system avoids dust or waste leaks. • Reduced running costs. • Clear shop floor and trench can also house ancillary services. • Additional production machines can easily be added. • A clean working environment ideal for a food quality production plant. • Air can be drawn from outside so heated factory air is not wasted. All Paramount waste extraction equipment carries full CE certification in accordance with EU Directives 98/37/EC,98/79/EC,94/9/EC & 2006/95/EC. ©Paramount Waste Extraction Ltd.
