I WASTE AND DUST EXTRACTION The Safety Non Return Valve is certified ATEX EN16447 against the propagation of an explosion in the suction line as required by the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU. Required on all waste extraction systems with a filtration device, the valve is kept open during normal operation without restricting flow. Back pressure from an explosion in the filtration device closes the valve preventing the effects of an explosion and fire travelling back down ducting to work areas. Once activated the valve stays closed. Built from carbon steel, painted blue RAL5010 or red RAL3020 or in stainless steel AISI304. Welded in the unions and reinforced to sustain high pressure.
