AirVeyor WASTE AND DUST EXTRACTION The AirVeyor provides clean, efficient and maintenance free conveying for large volumes of waste materials including paper, corrugated and solid board. In place of a conventional belt to carry the waste, the Airveyor has a shallow track of air flowing horizontally along its length and it is this airflow that transports the waste. Replacingalmost any horizontal belt conveyortransporting light sheet based materials, Paramount AirVeyors have no moving parts to maintain, no belts to jam or rollers to seize, no fiddly tracking adjustments and there are no waste traps underneath to make cleaning difficult. In addition, with the fan being the only moving part, safety is assured. Modular construction improved provides great flexibility, RA Airveyors can serve a single production machine or extend across the largest of converting areas to quickly take waste from entire plant. The units can be floor mounted or installed below floor level. High efficiency centrifugal fans deliver air to the AirVeyor bed below the air-track to ensure even distribution of the air cushion throughout the entire length of the AirVeyor. The air from the air track is not discharged to the working area, but is recycled back to the fans for re-use. In this way the unit operates as a closed system, with the conveying air and any dust particles being contained within the conveyor track, minimising dust emissions. Operators can safely walk on the Air track to gain access to production machinery even while the conveyor is operating. If space is restricted, the fans can be located remotely from the Airveyor itself. The Paramount St (Standard) AirVeyors are designed for applications with restricted space for short convey distances. These include Printer/Slotters and Die Cut/Creasing machines, particularly where the machine is already installed. The principle of operation is the same as the RA AirVeyor, using a shallow track of air to carry the waste, however on the ST air is not recycled back to the fans for re-use.
