THE SABER X-15 PLUS
- Microcut System: Equipped with a 15-inch color touch screen, the Microcut system offers a computerized back gauge with variable speeds from 3 to 16 inches per second. It is CIP-3/4 compatible, network-ready, and includes a Management Information System (MIS).
- Cutting Capacity: The machine can handle a maximum cut length and width of 141 inches, with a maximum cut height of 5 inches and a minimum cut length of 9 inches.
- Construction: Features a heavy-duty 8-inch wide clamp, stainless steel/chrome table surfaces with low-pressure air jets, and multiple air blower motors for efficient operation.
- Hydraulics: The clamp is operated by a hydraulic cylinder, with variable clamping force programmable from 500 to 20,000 lbs. Knife operation is supported by hydraulic cylinders located at each side of the knife beam.
- Safety and Efficiency: Includes infrared safety eye beams, push-button safety controls at three operator stations, and meets US, CSA, and CE safety requirements. Energy-efficient motors operate only during cutting and clamping.
- Power Requirements: Requires 480 volt, 3 phase, 60Hz, 40 amp power.
- Automated knife height setting and leveling from the Microcut computer.
- Foot treadle operation for soft clamping with infrared safety curtain interruption.
- Two high-speed blades and twelve plastic cutting sticks included.
- Parallel or eccentric cut options available.
