If used under controlled conditions, the system can help to dramatically reduce false tightening incidences. The new TSA Upgrade uses patented high precision non-contact sensing technology to measure the angular rotations of the drive shaft and the torgue energy that is transferred at every hammering impact. Intelligent software in the onboard multiprocessor signal processing electronics combines the results of the two measurements: Absolute Torgue Energy and Angular Rotations to determine when the wheel nut sits tight. Additional sensors determine when the tool is active or should go into power save mode. The Torgue and Angle Sensor Upgrade must be supplemented with the Pit Stop Box used for connecting up to 4 wheel guns to a PC and the Pit Stop Dashboard, Note: when ordering the TSA Upgrade, your Wheel-guns will be converted, tested and calibrated, in the factory by experienced people at Dino Paoli, TSA UPGRADE TORQUE SENSOR LAB UPGRADE DP2000 Series, DP3000 Series, DP4000 Series, DP5000 Series The Upgrade comes with Integrated Torgue Sensor and digital signal processor (DSP), When a preprogrammed amount of Torgue-Energy has been achieved (during the wheel fastening process) a set of bright LEDS will light-up, informing the tool operator that the target energy transfer has been completed. This LED trigger point can be set by using the supplementary programming interface kit with included windows based software.
