High quality marking of round products. Indent marking on round products is made fast and efficient with Roll Marking Machines. With proper fixturing, solid, hollow, round, and flat sections can be marked consistently through the use of roller dies, steel type holders, or custom engraved steel dies. Standard units can mark up to an 8” diameter part and optional frames are available for larger sizes. Fully adjustable manual and pneumatic units are available. Marking Rounds :: Cradle rolls are used to support and position solid or heavy-walled round parts. For marking thinwalled tubing, a mandrel support is positioned inside the part to provide backup support and prevent distortion. Flat, engraved steel dies or type holders with individual pieces of type are used to mark around the circumference of the part. Marking Flats :: Nesting fixtures, used with or without mandrels, are used to position and hold a part in place for consistent and uniform impressions.
