TAWERS Active Wire Process

TAWERS Active Wire Process

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document introduces the TAWERS-WG3 Arc Welding System, which integrates a 350A inverter pulse power source suitable for various welding processes including MAG, SP-MAG, MIG, Hyper Dip-pulse, AC MIG, DC TIG, and the new TAWERS Active Wire Process (AWP).
TAWERS Active Wire Process (AWP)
The AWP is an innovation from Panasonic's TAWERS "Fusion" technology aimed at enhancing welding quality while reducing costs. It features an improved torch feeding system and software, resulting in stable welding quality, significant spatter reduction, and a larger torch angle window.
System Synchronization
The system's components are fully synchronized, enabling reduced tact time and consistent welding quality.
Advantages of Active Wire Process
  • Significant spatter reduction and minimized spatter size.
  • Stable weld quality through wire feed speed adjustments at a constant cycle.
  • Increased torch angle flexibility, reducing spatter even with steep angles.
  • High-quality welding of thin materials with excellent penetration.
  • High-quality CO2 welding with 90% less spatter at 200A.
  • 80% spatter reduction in MAG-welding at 200A.

TAWERS Active Wire Process-1

TAWERS Active Wire Process (AWP) The TAWERS-WG3 Arc Welding System with integrated 350A inverter pulse power source is suitable for the standard welding processes, such as MAG, SP-MAG, MIG and Hyper Dippulse including the optional processes AC MIG and DC TIG and now for the new welding process TAWERS Active Wire. Panasonic Active Wire Feed Process (AWP) is newest innovation born from TAWERS “Fusion” technology developed for further improving welding quality and reducing cost at the same time. By implementing better torch feeding system and software, the new “Active TAWERS” system creates a stable welding quality with great spatter reduction, minimizing spatter size, high quality CO2 welding and a larger torch angle window. As everything comes from one hand the system is fully synchronized which makes the reduction of tact time and stable welding quality possible. Advantages of Active Wire Process: • Great spatter reduction Minimizing spatter size Stable weld quality. Stabilizing the arc by changing wire feed speed at constant cycle. Larger torch angle window. Active TAWERS minimizes spatter generation even with steep push/trail torch angle High quality welding of thin material, with very good penetration High quality CO2 welding. 90% less spatter generation at 200A 80% spatter reduction by MAG-welding at 200A Jagenbergstr. 11a, 41468 Neuss, Germany Factory Solutions Europe Robot and Welding Systems Europe E-Mail: [email protected] Web: www.panasonicrobotics.eu a department of Panasonic Industrial Devices Sales Europe GmbH © Subject to technical alterations 01.08.2012
