Overview
VaxALPR On Camera is a leading OCR software designed for real-time license plate detection and recognition. It offers high accuracy through the analysis of RAW images in i-PRO cameras and is fully integrated with Genetec and Video Insight using i-PRO Active Guard. This software is recommended for applications such as parking, access control, security, urban environments, and smart surveillance.

Hardware
The system utilizes i-PRO Cameras equipped with an AI Engine, providing excellent image quality both day and night due to Edge AI technology. It includes an integral IR illuminator and a motorized zoom lens.

Software
Country identification enhances OCR performance, while additional data such as Make, Model, and Color (MMC), type, moving direction, and pose offer advanced operations. The system supports whitelist and blacklist management on the camera using an SD card or server-side, and allows user-definable Regions of Interest (ROIs).

Results in Real Time
The system offers various reporting options and supports multiple protocols including ONVIF for i-PRO Active Guard, Genetec for third-party ALPR Plug-in, XML for Milestone Analytics event integration, and JSON through HTTP POST. It also supports camera actions on alarms, such as I/O control and email notifications.

VaxALPR on i-PRO Active Guard
The software ensures seamless operation with full integration into VMS, allowing for actions like video playback, snapshot export, and watchlist registration. It works alongside i-PRO's AI apps like Face or People detection within the same UI. Advanced watchlist registration enables real-time alarms for registered and unregistered license plate detection, as well as detection by vehicle appearance.

Search Capabilities
The system allows searching for license plates using various criteria including license plate number (with wildcard support), country, state (US only), direction of movement, vehicle type, color, brand, and model.
