Polygrinder®, type PKM-1

Production of Quality Powders Polygrinder®, type PKM Materials that can be processed: Fine grinding of various types of polyethylene granules such as HDPE, MDPE, LLDPE or PP and other thermoplastics for rotational moulding powders. Consistency of the feed material: Not only virgin, lenticular or cylindrical granules can be used as feed material but also cut regranulates of rejected materials. - Rotational moulding industry - Masterbatch producers - Coating powder manufacturers - Compounding industry - Extrusion industry Decisive advantages: Uniform powder qualities for highest demands Powders with excellent flowability, high bulk density and uniform particle size distribution according to DIN 53492 and ASTM D 1895 Optimum material distribution even in complicated moulds Material and weight savings due to uniform wall thickness Even cycle times guaranteeing constant quality of the moulded part High throughput rate at low, specific energy consumption

Polygrinder®, type PKM-2

Method of operation: The granule shaped feed material is fed into the Polygrinder®, type PKM via a storage bin by means of a dosing screw or a vibratory feeder. Fine grinding of the feed material is performed between profiled size reduction elements of a stationary and a rotating grinding disc. The material is suctioned out of the mill by means of a fan and is transported via a cyclone separator with downstream rotary airlock into a special screening machine. Oversized particles are automatically reintroduced into the mill for additional grinding. The finished powder is sacked or pneumatically...
