Method of Operation The double shaft shredder, type LION size reduces all cuttable material to a particle size smaller than 50 mm or when necessary coarser. Material is normally fed by means of a belt conveyor or gripper. The highly wear-resistant knives of the two cutting drums grab the material to be size reduced and cut it, along the edges of the knives, into strips and pieces.
