Briquetting Press PVB

Briquetting Press PVB

Product catalog summary
Areas of Application
The Briquetting Press PVB is a high-performance machine designed for compacting various materials such as wood shavings, sawdust, wood chips, paper waste, cardboard waste, textile waste, cellulose fluff, plastic film, and soft metal shavings like copper, aluminum, and magnesium. It is not suitable for compacting metal pieces. The briquettes produced have a diameter of approximately 60mm and a length of up to 120mm.
Principle of Operation
The operation involves feeding material into a silo with a central driver and discharge screw, which then moves the material into a feeding cylinder. This cylinder presses the material into a compacting chamber where a high-pressure cylinder achieves the desired density. Clamping cylinders hold the material during compacting, and the briquettes are discharged through a transport tube without the need for cooling.
Technical Specifications
The machine features an infeed opening of 1280mm, a silo volume of 0.7 to 2.0 m3, and a pump pressure of 250 bar. The pump motor ranges from 11 to 44 kW, and the throughput rate varies from 150 to 1280 kg/h depending on the material type and condition.
Design and Features
Designed for 24-hour operation, the machine includes an oil cooler with a fan to maintain operating temperature. It can be equipped with multiple compacting chambers to increase throughput. The operation is fully automatic, controlled by a microprocessor that manages the press functions, silo material driver, and discharge screw.
