MEDILIFT compact cassette passenger lift The fully automatic MEDILIFT R 3.3 from MBB PALFINGER is the most compact lift solution for low floor trams. This well-proven lift, which stows under the vehicle floor, has been fitted to the Munich tram network for over 10 years. The wheelchair user lets the driver know the lift is needed by simply pushing the button located by the entrance door and the driver operates the lift without leaving his seat. It is fitted with sensors to prevent the lift operating if obstructed whilst being deployed. The cassette is easy to dismantle for maintenance and repair, reducing the time the tram is out of operation.
