CORROSION RESISTANCE Resistant to corrosion and a wide range of chemicals, P-TREX structures are the right answer to problems typical of water treatment plants; they do not require painting or surface treatment and guarantee high mechanical, weather and UV resistance.

ELECTRICAL INSULATION Composite materials are extensively used in the mobility, electrical and telecommunications sectors to fence and protect areas where electrical insulation, non-magnetic properties and resistance to corrosion from stray currents are required. GFRP, by its very nature not electrically conductive, eliminates the risk of electrocution, making P-TREX solutions, such as platforms, walkways, stairs and fences, the preferred choice also for long line applications.

THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY Among its characteristics, GFRP boasts excellent resistance to temperature variations, allowing for low heat transmission; in fact, it provides good thermal insulation, far superior to that of traditional materials. It represents an excellent solution in environments with high thermal excursion, reducing thermal bridges and contributing to better internal comfort.
