Thyristormodules with fast pulse sequence The thyristormodules with fast pulse sequence are suited for power controlling of shortwave and fast mediumwave IR-emitters. Because these IR-emitters produce peaks up to 15-fold of the nominal current value at the cold start, we suggest to burden the thyristor only with the reduced current factor of 2.5 of the max. value. The impulse group control needs, compared to phase angle control, no costly noise suppression. The power controlling effects through a change of the pulse- and pause time. By the particularly fast impulse group control, the glimmer effect will be minimized.
