By the integrated short-circuit cut-out, a false alarm through contact with conductive objects within the car body is ruled out. The commercial advantage are the low-priced individual changeable electrodes. Through 4 LED indicators and an acoustic signal, a wet spot will be signalized without delay. The built-in lithium ion accumulator is dimensioned for a continous operation of 100 hours (50 % alarm). Moisture Probe Opration For a longer storage or transport, the moisture probe is to switch off to avoid a deep discharge of the accumulator. (devices are delivered switched-off) The entry of the switch is closed with a hexagon socket headless screw. Unscrew it. Use a little slot screwdriver (blade max. 3 mm) to operate the miniatur-rotary switch. The switch has 3 positions (see grafic). In the mid-position (2) the device is switched off.
